A few clear spells, otherwise, cloudy, mild and breezy. Mostly dry, but some mostly light rain or drizzle is expected over northern and western hills. Later, clearer, fresher, showery weather will edge southwards into northeastern Scotland. Thursday:
Northeastern Scotland bright and cooler with showers, these turning wintry later. Elsewhere, often cloudy, mild, but mainly dry. Bright spells in the south and east, light rain over western hills. Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
